Frequently Asked Questions

  1. How much does it cost to hire your acts ? Prices vary depending on event requirements and act booked. Please contact us for a bespoke quote.

  2. Do you require a deposit? A 50% deposit is required in advance to secure the booking. Full terms and conditions are outlined in the booking form on request.

  3. Do you accept credit card? Payment is accepted via BACs transfer, Stripe payment or via PayPal (with additional charge).

  4. How far in advance can I book? Events can be booked up to 2 years in advance.

  5. Where are you based and how far do you travel? Mirabelle Arts studioi s in Bristol and acts can perform in every part of the country and internationally. Previous international bookings include events in Taiwan, Egypt, Hong Kong, Philippines, India and across Europe. For some international bookings we also provide a tour manager, technicians and riggers depending on the type of event.

  6. How long do you perform for? Set lengths vary depending on the performance package you would like to book. Performances range from 10-minute shows, to 2-hour background set. However, most acts have a maximum of 4 x 30 minute background sets.

  7. For acts which include live music, what songs do you play? We can play almost anything! If you have a particular track which isn’t on the song list then do get in touch for special requests.

  8. Can we choose the set list? Although there are already existing set lists available for events we always like to work with the event organiser to decide on a particular style of music or songs to avoid. Bespoke sets lists or composed music are available on request.

  9. Can you perform with other artists? Mirabelle Arts have a strong network of artists including musicians, dancers and circus performers. We are able to co-ordinate performers for your event and suggest options if you are looking for something truly unique.

  10. Do you provide your own PA/sound equipment? Yes – depending on the size of the event. For events up to 150 guests, we provide an EV PA system. For larger events and bookings outside the UK, the artists require an AV company at the venue with sound engineer. Technicians can be provided if required and a full technical specification for each act is available on request.

  11. Are you able to perform outside? Yes – specific requirements vary depending on the act and a wet weather plan is required for each event.

  12. How much space do you require? Space requirements vary depending on which act is booked.

  13. My venue requires Public Liability Insurance and PAT-testing. Are you covered? Every artist has Public Liability cover up to £1,000,000 and is a member of Equity or the MU. Electrical equipment is PAT tested.

  14. How long do you need to set up? Set up time is usually between 60-90 minutes depending on the act and costume requirements.

  15. Will you require refreshments? Yes please! We ask for water/soft drinks to be provided while performing. If the event requires artists to be on site over dinner time, we also ask that a hot evening meal is provided.

  16. Can I see you perform live before I book? Most events we perform at are unfortunately private or closed. You can keep up to date on any upcoming shows or watch existing videos via Instagram, YouTube, and Facebook.
